A picture is worth a thousand words. Through all the treatments and doctor appointments, Mateo still finds time to smile and be BEAST!

THE JOURNEY BEGINS AGAIN

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a cancer of the white blood cells, where immature white blood cells are over-produced and multiply in the bone marrow, inhibiting production of normal cells. It is most commonly diagnosed in children, ages 2-5.

I've been sitting here all night. I keep thinking about that day nearly 4 years ago. It's something that you never forget. The day we were told he had cancer. I have to be completely honest with you, it wasn't any easier the second time around. The Beast has relapsed.  And... we start all over again tomorrow. He's gotten us through before, He will not fail us now. God

Mateo's Story

Mateo “The Beast” Cota is the youngest of our three boys.  11 days prior to his second birthday, and after what seemed like dozens of visits to the doctor/E.R., our beast was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
